Run With Rotary and Montgomery FunFest are Back!
The Rotary Club of Montgomery/Rocky Hill and the Montgomery Business Association are pleased to announce the return of two iconic community events.
After a three-year hiatus, the Run With Rotary and the Montgomery FunFest are back! These two great events will take place together on one great day! Sunday, April 30, 10am – 3pm at Skillman Park.
Start your day with a 5K run or a one mile ramble then take in the sights, sounds and fun of the Montgomery FunFest! The combined event will begin at 10am. We encourage preregistration for the 5K and ramble.
This is the Rotary Club of Montgomery/Rocky Hill’s 14th Annual Run with Rotary 5K Race & 1-Mile Ramble. The one-mile ramble/walk will begin at 10:00am, followed by the 5K run/walk at 10:35am. Proceeds will benefit the Rotary Club of Montgomery/Rocky Hill Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization. Founded 33 years ago, the Rotary Club of Montgomery-Rocky Hill is a volunteer service organization dedicated to ending hunger, illiteracy, addiction and polio; saving vulnerable mothers and children; promoting peace and protecting the environment. The club raises funds for local and international charities as well as for college and vocational scholarships, and provides hands-on assistance to communities and families in need.

Montgomery FunFest has become a great annual Montgomery tradition that supports our local business community. The event features booths showcasing local businesses, art, contemporary crafts, culinary delights, games of chance, live entertainment, games for the kids, fire trucks and EMS rescue vehicles. There will also be surprise performances and demonstrations! In addition, there will be pets available for adoption, and so much more! Funfest begins at 10am in conjunction with the RWR, and admission is free!
The Montgomery Business Association, a 501(c) (6) organization, was founded in 2010. The MBA grew out of the desires of several community groups to foster local businesses and encourage local shopping. The goals of this non-profit organization are to keep more commerce in the local economy; protect our environment with less driving; strengthen the sense of community among residents and businesses; enhance the special nature of Montgomery living.
